SPECIALIST INSIGHT as not only does it give customers a new avenue to shop with us , but it also gives us a new line of communication with them . We can now utilise push notifications to share new product releases , discounts and loyalty points .

Within our app and website , we ' ve recently been working to add a ‘ story feature ’, so imagine , just like we experience on Instagram and Snapchat we have little circles on the top bar . This allows customers to almost feel like they are not on a website buying things and instead like they are scrolling through their social feeds . This approach has been popular so far and has only been on the site last month and it ' s generated about £ 50,000 in revenue for us . But for me , it ' s not so much about the revenue stream . Again . It ' s the ability to communicate with our customers and find out what they want us to release , and what are they enjoying about the site and new products . As well as campaign reactions , like did they join with our newest influencers ?
Obviously , ultimately , everyone likes it when it ties back to revenue , but if you can pay for something that allows you to communicate with customers and generate revenue , I feel like everyone ' s a winner . �
